Zu den Zehntausenden von Corona- Toten, die Donald Trump am Ende auf seinem Gewissen (Scherz. Er hat natürlich keines) haben wird, kommen wohl auch noch ein paar Dutzend Hassverbrechen gegen asiatisch aussehende Menschen in den USA.
Wobei ich das für Ausreden halte. Wer jemanden abstechen will, findet dazu einen Grund, mit oder ohne Corona und Trump.

Solche Leute sind sicher schon vorher aggressiv und gefährlich, aber sie brauchen einen Auslöser oder eben eine "Ausrede", um dann ihren Wahn umzusetzen. Hassverbrechen gegen Asiaten sind in den USA letzten zwei Monaten um 75% gestiegen (und wohl nicht nur dort, auch in Europa). Wenn der mächtigste Mann der Welt Chinesen zu Sündenböcken macht, hat das Konsequenzen, nicht nur für Chinesen, sondern für alle, die nach Ansicht von Rassisten chinesisch aussehen.
In Florida tut sich umfragemäßig etwas. Trump bekommt keine gute Noten beim Corona-Handling:

A 53% majority of Floridians in the poll disapproved of Trump’s handling of the crisis, and 58% said they did not trust Trump “to provide reliable information about the coronavirus”.
